Wounded Nurse Fund

We are working to establish a fund for injured and fallen nurses. Nurses, as front line healthcare providers, play a crucial role in saving lives and often face physical, mental, and emotional challenges in the process. We recognize the unique struggles nurses encounter, as well as the lack of support relative to other first responders as well as military.

We are addressing a critical gap in support systems. This initiative not only provides financial assistance but also acknowledges the profound identity and sense of purpose that being a nurse entails. Losing any part of that identity is indeed a significant and sometimes devastating challenge.

Creating a community-driven initiative to address the needs of nurses facing challenges, both physical and emotional, reflects a deep understanding of the importance of collective support.

We call for individuals and businesses to join in helping with this cause because "it takes a village to care for a village." This collaborative approach acknowledges the interconnectedness of support systems and the collective responsibility to ensure the well-being of those who dedicate their lives to caring for others.

Intentional Teas serves as a meaningful starting point to initiate this village, offering a platform for awareness, financial and medical support, and advocacy for policy change. By inviting others to join us in this endeavor, we hope to foster a sense of shared responsibility and empowerment.

We call to action, a diverse range of individuals to contribute their skills, expertise, and resources to make a positive impact on the lives of injured and fallen nurses. It's a rallying cry for collective efforts to bring about tangible change and improve outcomes for nurses who have dedicated themselves to the service of others.
