The Wounded Nurses Fund was created out of a deeply personal journey—one of injury, isolation, and resilience. Founded by a labor and delivery nurse who lost the use of her dominant arm after a workplace injury, the fund was born from the realization that injured nurses are often left behind—physically, emotionally, and financially.

We exist to change that.

This fund provides emergency financial assistance, emotional support, and community connection for nurses navigating life after injury. Whether facing long delays with workers' compensation, loss of identity, or lack of access to healing resources, we believe no nurse should have to face it alone.

Our Mission:

To empower injured nurses by offering tangible support, advocating for systemic change, and reminding them that their worth is not defined by their injury.

How We Help:

-Emergency grants for uncovered medical costs or living expenses
-Peer support networks to combat isolation
-Advocacy & awareness around workplace safety and systemic reform
-Funded in part by 10% of every sale from Intentional Teas
